2:58 in, Daniel Sprong (4) continues his early season success making it 1-0 Bandits.

Less than a minute later, Tanev (2) fires one from the point that skips past Brossoit to tie it up 1-1!

Time winding down in the 1st… Martinez one times a loose puck past Greiss at 19:37… 2-1 Bandits!

2nd Period
Pavelski (9) shows he has more gas left in the tank – Bandits up 3-1.

A little over a minute later, Captain Bo Horvat (1) gets his first of the season finally! 4-1 Bandits lead.

On to the 3rd Period…
Horvat gets his 2nd of the game and season, and Brossoit does his best Vasilevskiy impression, turning aside all 10 shots faced to end this one 5-1!

The Bandits continue to roll… two more home games to go!

A great goalie matchup with Grubauer in for Cali, and Vasilevskiy back in net for the Bandits.

A very defensive 1st period as California out-shoots the Bandits 6-5 in a scoreless period.

2nd Period… Brentwood returns the favor and out-shoots California 10-8, but with the same scoreless result.

Onto the 3rd… Bandits out-shoot the Regulators again, but again, the same scoreless results! So we end regulation scoreless and head to OT!

Bandits come out firing… two shots on Grubauer, two saves.

Bandits cycle the puck… Guentzel to Reilly, over to Pavelski… shoots… SCORES!!! His 10th on the season!

Bandits win a very defensive goaltending duel in OT, 1-0.

Campbell in goal for the Raccoons, and Vasilevskiy in goal for the Bandits.

1st Period…
Brentwood out-shoots Bucks County 14-3 in a lopsided period, but Campbell stays on task… at least on 13 of those shots, as #14 goes behind him on the PP at 19:53 as Guentzel (5) rips a wicked wristah past him! 1-0 Bandits!

2nd Period…
Shots equal 9-9 and this time Oshie (5) gets one past Vasi on the PP to tie it at 1-1!!

3rd Period…
Shots again equal 13-13…

Aston-Reese intercepts a pass and is off to the races… he stops skating and glides in on Campbell. Dekes, shoots… SCORES!! His 4th of the season… 2-1 Bandits!!

Then at 11:09, Aston-Reese (5) puts another past Campbell to continue his unexpected strong start to make it 3-1 Bandits!

Raccoons pull Campbell with 1:30 left… but Vasilevskiy shuts the door and the Bandits win yet again, 3-1!!

When asked about the improbably win streak, coach Tom Atkins replied “It’s all about balance. A balanced attack. Offense and defense. If you can get your team to buy into that, and you have the talent in the spots where it’s needed… then you will win more than you will lose.”

One note: One time Bandit Stanley Cup hero, and cult fan favorite, Frank Vatrano, despite his “8” rating for Inside Scoring, has ZERO goals in 10 games and has only 1 assist and is a -1… He has been demoted to the 3rd line. Here is to hoping Frankie V can find the tune he needs to sing…

After an even period 1, LA senses this one will be a battle, and Hague and Krejci are sent off 15 seconds in with coincidental roughing minors. Period 2 is a tight one, and LA gets the only tally by Mark Scheifele halfway through, so LA holds a 2-1 lead going to the final frame.

5 minutes into the 3rd, Claude Giroux converts off an odd-man rush to give LA a 2-goal cushion, and the defense goes in shutdown mode from there. As we’ve seen late in other games, LA struggles at the end and Pittsburgh spends basically the final 2 minutes of the game in the offensive zone, but LA hangs on for a hard-fought 3-1 victory.

Three stars are Scheifele 1G-1A, Shesterkin 28 saves, and Giroux 1G

Nikolaj Ehlers scores 2:50 into the 3rd, with Stephenson getting his 2nd point of the night and as a Great Dane. From there, Semyon Varlamov makes a few big saves and finishes off the Walleye with a 16-save shutout.

A 4-0 win for the Danes, Varlamov is the #1 star with his second shutout of the season, and Stephenson 1G-1A, and Gourde 1G are the other stars.

With 1:32 left, Draisaitl scores. Then, he scores another with 10 seconds to go to the tie the game.

In OT, Stamkos with a spectacular penetration move to win the game.

Cal Petersen turned away 38 shots in improving his record to 3-1 on the year. Valeri Nichushkin and Logan Couture scored the Cincinnati goals.

Valeri Nichushkin had the lone Inferno goal in the second period. Andrei Vasilevskiy turned aside 28 shots in running his record to 7-0. Connor Hellebuyck stopped 26 in having his record level at 3-3-1.

The Inferno outshot the Great Danes, 29-23. William Karlsson was solid in the faceoff circle, claiming 13 of 21 chances.

The next two periods the goalies, Grubauer and Oettinger, locked down the nets and we go to overtime where once again no goals were scored

In the shootout California’s Reinhart was stopped and Portland’s Farabee found the net to give the Storm a 1-0 advantage. Oettinger once again stopped Huberdeau and Portland had the chance to win but Batherson was unable to capitalize. With one last opportunity the Regulators sent out Stone who evened the score when he slipped a shot past Oettinger for the goal. Portland’s Brown came onto the icce with the home crowd on their feet and sent everyone home happy when he managed to score to give Portland the win

Jason Robertson saved the contest for Toledo with an even strength goal with 28 seconds remaining in the third, which tied the contest at 4-4. Both teams exchanged a pair of goals in both the first and third periods. Trocheck also added a goal in regulation; it came one minute into the third and put the Walleye ahead 3-2 prior to goals from Tyler Myers and Craig Smith providing the Buzzards with a temporary 4-3 lead.

On offense, Jonathan Marchessault was a difference-maker for Charlotte, scoring 18:26 into the first period to break a scoreless tie, then, after a scoreless second, he assisted on a Craig Smith game-winning goal 4:10 into the third. Anthony Cirelli gave Pittsburgh a chance with a goal with 2:57 left in the third that ended Allen’s shutout bid but the Miners could not find the tying goal in the closing minutes.

The 2nd period sees the Walleye absolutely pound away at Smith in goal, getting 18 SOG, but only getting one in the net. Kempe with the lone score of the period. Each team kills one penalty, and its 3-1.

The 3rd period sees a repeat of the 2nd, this time the Walleye get 19 SOG, and Smith hangs in there allowing only one through. Alamo gets only 1 SOG in each of the last 2 periods, which this reporter has never seen before. Alamo wins 3-2
